Ushio Amamiya has waist-length, wavy light grey hair. She often has two braids, which she secures with two ribbons, while keeping the rest of her hair loose. Ushio also light blue eyes for which she gets the nickname, "Lady Hydrangea".
Personality and traits[]
Ushio Anamiya can be described as a a seemingly cold, intelligent, quiet and elegant young lady from a prominent family. She is mostly antisocial with everyone aside from those in the student council, her best friend Haine, and her love interest the school’s doctor Senri.
She was known to have many different “boyfriends” (about 10-20) who she occasionally embraces/spends time with whenever she feels lonely, despite her claim of hating men. But she is never truly intimate or romantic with them beyond physical contact (aside from Senri who she later develops romantic feelings for). She doesn’t even kiss them. Although she did share a swap diary with one of her “boyfriends”Yukimitsu. However, the swap diary mainly contained entries about Haine.
She is extremely possessive of those she cares for, specifically Haine, because in her harsh upbringing she received no affection or love from her parents. And for a while Haine was the only person in Ushio’s life that gave her unconditional love and kindness. At some point during the series she develops romantic feelings for Haine. But eventually she realizes that she was confusing being “in love” with her feelings of possessiveness over Haine. She was deeply afraid that if Haine loved anyone besides Ushio that she would stop loving her. But with help from Senri and the student council she realized there were others who would love her unconditionally too.
After her reconciliation with her friends she dumps all her “boyfriends” and later enters a romantic relationship with Senri.

Takanari Togu - friends and at one point romantic rivals for Haine’s heart/attention. Before they became true friends they had a unconventional frenemy/professional relationship with one another. At one point she even hated him for hurting Haine and (in her eyes) taking Haine away from her. But they later grew closer as friends[]
Maguri Tsujimiya - friends who also had a rough start but became closer over time. Originally their relationship was one of frenemies/coworkers. But through Ushio’s intervention from the members of the student council and Senri they became closer as friends.[]
